At Little Lane Early Learning Centre we value each child as a competent and capable learner, on their own unique journey shaped by their own context and family.
We value the early years’ of each child’s life as the formative years, in which we have the opportunity to build the foundations of strong brains through meaningful play based learning, in order to promote a lifelong love of learning.
We acknowledge and respect the diversity and history of the land on which we operate and throughout our community, particular that of the Traditional Owners, Gayemagal people.
At Little Lane Early Learning Centre, we aim to provide a warm, caring atmosphere where each child and their family feels welcome and secure and where diversity is accepted, recognised and valued. Our aim is to foster within each child awareness and acceptance of others, developing respect for those who may be different from themselves in terms of lifestyle, abilities and culture.
We acknowledge that parents are children’s first educators and aim to work collaboratively to develop shared goals and expectations for each child by providing an environment where connecting links with the family and the wider world are affirmed and extended.
“The art of teaching is the art of assisting discovery.”
